These terms apply to quotations, supply, installation, repair and maintenance work carried out by AutoDoor Pro in the United Arab Emirates. Please read them before accepting a quotation.
Quotations
Quotations are based on the site survey and the information you provide. They remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If site conditions differ materially from what was surveyed, or the scope changes at your request, we will issue a revised quotation before continuing.
Scope of work
The work we will carry out is limited to what is written in the accepted quotation. Civil works, electrical supply to the equipment position, permits and third-party approvals are excluded unless expressly included.
Access and site conditions
You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, a suitable power supply, and any building or community approvals required before we attend. Delays caused by lack of access or approvals may affect the schedule and, where significant, the price.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on the quotation or invoice. Supplied equipment remains the property of AutoDoor Pro until paid for in full. We reserve the right to suspend work or withhold handover where invoices are overdue.
Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty on our workmanship from the date of handover. Equipment and parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty, which we will pass through to you. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, vehicle impact, tampering, unauthorised modification, power surges, flooding, or work carried out by others.
Consumable and wear items, and systems that have not been maintained as recommended, fall outside warranty cover.
Maintenance
Automatic doors, gates, shutters and barriers are moving mechanical systems and require periodic servicing. Where a maintenance contract is in place, response times and included works are set out in that contract.
Safety
Our installations are commissioned with the safety devices specified in the quotation. Disabling, bypassing or removing safety sensors, photocells or safety edges after handover voids our warranty and transfers responsibility for any resulting incident to the operator of the equipment.
Liability
Our liability in connection with any work is limited to the value of that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business, revenue or profit.
Cancellation
If you cancel after we have ordered non-stock or made-to-measure equipment, the cost of that equipment remains payable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the UAE have jurisdiction over any dispute.
